Jewel Wire offers 3 types of Stainless Steel, T-302, T-304 and T-316. These products have been exclusively developed to be able to supply tensile strength, fatigue strength and to have corrosion resistant properties to manufacture the highest quality brushes. |
Alloy 260 - This brass wire is 70% Copper and 30% Zinc. Jewel Wire only uses the highest quality brass which is highly conductive and corrosion resistant. This wire is used in the manufacture of all brass brushes. |
Alloy 510 - This wire is 95% Copper and 5% Tin. The addition of tin to copper effectively increases the fatigue strength. Phospher Bronze is corrosion resistant, has good fatigue life, and has high electric conductivity, low elastic modulus and high tensile strength, making it an excellent product for brushes. |
Alloy 745 - This wire is 10% Nickel, 65% Copper and 25% Zinc. The addition of nickel to brass results in the formation of white alloy - Nickel Silver. With the addition of nickel the tensile strengths are increased along with corrosion resistance, making this a good product for use as brush fill material and staples. |
Carbon C1071 Steel Wire. This material is used to produce high quality, high tensile, high fatigue brush fill material. |
0.15 maximum Carbon Steel Wire. Drawn from only zinc coated Low Carbon Steel, this material develops into a medium tensile, corrosive resistant, high quality product which can be used in the manufacture of wire brushes.
